Our Equipment and Information Centre at Rougier House, York, is open Monday to Friday 10am to 3pm on a drop-in basis.
If you have a sight loss or support someone with a sight loss, the Centre staff can provide advice, information, equipment and support to help you live as independently as possible
We can help you:

- Continue to do everyday activities like cooking, shopping, making a cup of tea, watching tv, sewing, gardening or other hobbies.
- Use new technology such as computers, mobile phones, talking book machines, televisions, audio description at home and at the theatre.
We have an extensive display of equipment specifically designed for blind, partially sighted and visually impaired people, all of which can be tried out during your visit.
We can also provide information about other local and national services.
